Federation Square, 2 Swanston St, Melbourne

Opening up in 2002, Time Out Fed Square has continued to be a favourite for Melbournians and visitors alike.  It is located in Melbourne’s iconic tourist destination, Federation Square, while looking out over the equally iconic, Flinders Street Station.

The now newly renovated restaurant, which was designed by Studio Tate, brings a modern, open, vibrant atmosphere to the heart of the city.

The team behind Time Out Fed Square have been in hospitality for over 30 years, and are constantly finding new ideas and developing new concepts within the café.

Being in the heart of Melbourne, the team behind Time Out wanted to showcase the best in Modern Australia food and what Australian food represents. Putting a twist on classics from a variety of cuisines, while keeping up with what’s in trend and working with the best seasonal produce.

A mouth watering menu with incredible fresh smoothies and dishes such as avocado, slow roasted tomatoes and spinach served on seven grain toast with Persian style feta and buttermilk pancakes served with muddled berries, Canadian maple syrup and ice cream, while serving up Code Black coffee. These guys will have you coming back for more!

Opening their doors 365 days of the year for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Time Out is the central hub to all the hot spots Melbourne has to offer. Make sure you grab a seat outside on the Terrace and enjoy the best of people watching and of course the Melbourne sunshine!
