99 Puckle Street, Moonee Ponds

When you name your café after the great Stevie Wonder’s 1976 hit song Sir Duke you know you’re in for a good experience! We are talking about Sir Duke in Moonee Ponds – this large site serves up all-day dining in a family-friendly atmosphere.

The team behind Sir Duke thought it was time to bring something new and fresh to Moonee Ponds. Bring that south-east style café for the locals to enjoy.

After a year in the making and teaming up with Studio Tate who worked with other amazing cafes such as Middle Town and Fance Nancy the team has created this mind-blowing space.

The team also collaborated with Pop & Pac which put its mark on The Kettle Black and Higher Ground. Transforming the interior into a modern, bright, trendy café. Wait until you see the incredible pink grand terrazzo bar as you enter!

Using the best in local and seasonal produce with everything made fresh onsite. A menu where you can expect the classics although Sir Duke has put their twist on them – everything from smash avocado to a healthy breakfast salad.

Want to treat yourself this weekend? You won’t be able to go past Sir Dukes Crème ‘Brulee French Toast’ caramel crusted light, fluffy brioche topped with house-made berry compote, maple syrup, mascarpone and honeycomb.

On a savoury note the mouth-watering ‘Haloumi and Carrot Fritters’ with labneh, rocket, pickled cucumber and poached eggs.

Trying to be good stick to the ‘Breakfast Salad’ grilled broccolini, kale, spinach, avocado, black beans, cherry tomatoes, nuts, seeds, herbs, E.V.O and poached eggs.

If that isn’t enough sure to order one of their unbelievable smoothies or shakes.  Serving up the best in Code Black 3056 blend coffee – an easy light blend. While rotating Code Black single origin. Alongside with fresh wet Chai, Baileys and Malibu hot chocolates.

Be sure to make Sir Duke you next breakfast spot. You won’t be able to resist!
