Nestled on the iconic street of High Street Kew, Dawson provides a sophisticated and relaxed atmosphere, led by an exciting young team.  


Passionate head chef Majid Jregie previously at EZARD, brings a vibrant modern touch with a delicious twist to the Dawson, followed by sous chef Emily Wood who formerly worked at Morris Jones, Light Years and Saint Crispin. You know you’re in for a fantastic experience when you have these guys looking after you!


The mouth-watering menu is inspired by modern Australian cooking with a touch of Asian fusion.


Everything is made fresh daily, sourcing the finest of Australian local produce at the time of year to ensure the freshest and most flavoursome ingredients are used in each dish, offering everything from the classics to contemporary dishes.


The dishes we couldn’t go past were the ‘PINA COLADA HOTCAKES’ with grilled pineapple, pineapple curd, coconut ice cream, white chocolate ganache and coconut crumble.


A hearty, savoury dish to die for is the ‘DAWSON BENEDICT.’ Pulled BBQ beef brisket, poached eggs, hollandaise, house-made sweet potato and pecorino cheese waffle.


The classic with a twist ‘CHILLI FOLDED EGGS’ red harissa, Meredith goat’s cheese, fresh herbs, sumac and sourdough toast


For something on the lighter side try the ‘MATCHA PANNA COTTA.’

with cocoa, buckwheat and almond granola, fresh seasonal fruit with raspberry textures.


Serving up Bean Alliance coffee for your morning shot with all the trendy drinks such as turmeric and matcha lattes, Dawson will be sure to have you covered!
