Mon – Fri: 7:00am – 4:00pm

Sat – Sun: 8:00am – 4:00pm

1/3 Cookson St, Camberwell

Located right next to Camberwell train station, Collective Espresso is the go to for trendy locals chasing their caffeine hit and a mouthwatering breakfast!

The narrow café, which screams laid back and rustic was previously a clothing shop that was transformed 10 years ago into a modern café.

With a real focus on all things coffee using Undercover Coffee Roasters house blend while rotating different single origins, these guys are now also in the process of creating their own house blend which will be exclusive to Collective Espresso. They use old school techniques & machines to create the finest cup of coffee for their customers and believe “coffee is a reflection of the barista not the machine”.

As for the food, the Head Chef Jose Chavez has taken the new menu by storm by putting a fine dining twist on café food. Chavez who was mentored by Jacques Reymond & Shane Delia (Maha) has been in the foodie scene for over 8 years.  Chevez draws inspiration from his Salvador background and really focuses on taking food to the next level.

The crowd favorites are The No Brainer – smashed feta and avocado with fresh dill, mint & parsley, served with thick cut multigrain with a wedge of lemon. Also can’t go wrong  Charred Corn, Cauliflower & Zucchini Fritters – tomato chutney, whipped goats cheese & avocado

Collective Espresso is a must visit if you are after great coffee & food paired with friendly and cosy atmosphere!
